Location: Newport

The RoleWe are recruiting for a Warehouse & Logistics Coordinator to join a successful manufacturing organisation in Newport.

This is a varied role combining warehouse operations, logistics coordination, SAP systems and stock control, supporting the smooth movement of raw materials and finished products across the business.

You’ll work closely with production teams, transport providers and external warehouses to ensure materials are delivered on time, stock levels remain accurate and supply chain operations run efficiently.

Shift Patterns

A variety of shift patterns are available, depending on the position and operational requirements.


4 on, 2 off

  • 8-hour shifts.
    • Weekday working hours between 7:00am and 7:00pm.
    • Weekend shifts are 7:00am – 3:00pm.

24/7 Rotating Shift Pattern

  • 4 on, 4 off, repeated three times, followed by 10 consecutive days off.
    • Includes both day and night shifts.
    • Pattern consists of 2 day shifts followed by 2 night shifts.
    • Day shift: 6:00am – 6:00pm.
    • Night shift: 6:00pm – 6:00am.
    • The 10-day break forms part of the holiday arrangement, with an additional 44 hours of annual leave available to book throughout the calendar year.

4 on, 4 off – Days Only

  • Day shifts only.
    • Working hours: 6:00am – 6:00pm.

Full training will be provided before moving onto the permanent rota.


Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Warehouse & Logistics Coordinator, you will:

  • Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics for raw materials and finished products.
    • Manage warehouse transactions and stock movements using SAP.
    • Support goods-in processes, inventory checks and stock accuracy.
    • Liaise with transport providers and external warehouse partners.
    • Prepare export documentation and support customs processes.
    • Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies and logistics issues.
    • Ensure materials are available to support production requirements.
    • Support warehouse operations, including loading and unloading activities when required.

About YouWe’re looking for someone with experience in:

  • Warehouse, logistics, inventory or supply chain coordination.
    • Manufacturing or fast-paced operational environments.
    • SAP systems – SAP SD experience is essential, SAP WM desirable.
    • Stock control and inventory management.
    • Import/export processes and documentation would be advantageous.
    • Strong organisation, communication and problem-solving skills.


A proactive attitude and the ability to work effectively across multiple departments are key to success in this role.

FLT experience/licence would be advantageous but is not essential.
