Position: CASS Operations Associate

Our client

A salary of £23,000 - £26,000 per annum (depending on experience) plus fantastic benefits including:

Fully Office based role - with potential to work 1 day remotely after probation period has been passed (6 months).

Role Overview

The CASS Operations team ensures the protection of client money and assets. The Associate plays a crucial role in maintaining and improving the comprehensive set of controls. This oversight function contributes across all aspects of a dynamic investment operations environment to deliver top-tier service to clients.

Duties Include

- Supporting business compliance with FCA rules related to the Client Asset Sourcebook (CASS).
- Performing daily controls like reconciliations and diligently investigating any discrepancies.
- Assisting in identifying and rectifying inefficient or inadequate processes.
- Supporting the delivery of projects led or supported by the CASS Operations team.
- Developing knowledge of business and regulatory requirements to aid in technical enquiries and resolutions.

Required Skills

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Logical and analytical approach to problem-solving.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Organised with effective time management skills and the ability to prioritise tasks.
- Self-motivated and proactive.
- Strong numerical skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience in CASS within the platform sector is desirable.
