I am delighted to be working with a regional developer seeking an experienced Senior Technical Manager. Due to expansion of sites into Cornwall this company are looking for an additional member of staff to join their team.

Overseeing 2 large sites exceeding 300+ units, therefor you will need to have a strong background in new build housing on behalf of a developer or housing contractor. You will be expected to visit sites regularly and split your time between the office, site and working from home.

Summary of Duties:

• To Control and manage the design process from planning application stage through to project completion
• Recommend appointment of consultants
• Ensuring external consultant designs are built correctly in accordance with the design, budget and to a high-quality.
• To support the operational teams with sufficient and accurate information to progress sites in line with build programme.
• To provide technical support from inception to build and completion.

Candidates will need to have major project experience delivering 300+ unit residential schemes. Ideally you will have a strong engineering background and be accustomed to working independently.


This is a newly created role at an exciting time for the company, who are now in a position to recruit and additional member of staff due to continued growth. The success in Cornwall means this will be the first Cornwall based Technical Manager they have employed. You will be able to work autonomously and independently and report to the technical director.


In return the company can offer a competitive salary which is DOE and will range from £60k - £65k/pa plus car or allowance, other benefits. Happy to offer and agree a flexible working week!


Mid Cornwall is an ideal location, so you can commute to sites and the local Devon office
