Having a number of live sites across Cornwall, the company are actively looking for a self sufficient and experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team and lead new build residential development in Truro.
As the Senior QS on site, you will be required to take commercial responsibility for the scheme from procurement to final account. With support from your site team, you will ensure high standards of account management and customer liaison, cost control, risk management and accurate reporting.
Applicants should possess:
- A proven track record in a Senior Quantity Surveying role
- Extensive house building experience with recognised developers and/or contractors
- Excellent communication and management skills
- A good understanding of construction methods and materials
- A min HNC level qualification in Construction or related subject
- Fully IT literate
