The Role
As a Mobile Electrician, you’ll carry out electrical maintenance, installation, testing and remedial works across a variety of sites in the Devon region. The work is diverse, well‑organised and supported by a friendly team who take pride in doing things properly.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct Electrical Testing & Inspection in line with BS 7671
- Complete electrical installation and upgrade works
- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance
- Deliver remedial works identified during testing and inspection
- Support apprentices and junior engineers
- Complete all certification, reports and electronic documentation accurately
- Work safely and compliantly at all times, following site‑specific requirements
- Maintain high standards of customer service and workmanship
- Full UK manual driving licence
- City & Guilds 2391‑52 (or equivalent) Testing & Inspection
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in Testing & Inspection
- Strong awareness of safe systems of work and compliance
- Long‑term, secure employment within a supportive, growing business
