What does the job entail?

Warwickshire County Council is seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join their team in Nuneaton. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to the maintenance and cleanliness of their facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all.
You will achieve this by:

" Maintaining the cleanliness of meeting rooms, staff offices, communal areas and external spaces.
" Perform cleaning duties as directed, including but not limited to sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces.
" Emptying waste bins and disposing of rubbish in accordance with council guidelines. Maintaining cleanliness in washrooms and communal areas. Reporting any maintenance

What are we looking for in the ideal candidate?

" Previous experience in cleaning or janitorial services preferred but not essential.
" Own transport as you would be working over a few sites.
" Ability to work independently and efficiently.
" Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering high-quality work.
Additional Requirements:
" Basic Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) clearance will be required upon successful application.
