Are you an experienced HR professional seeking a varied role where you can make an immediate impact? We are currently recruiting for a Temporary Assistant HR Business Partner to join a busy and supportive People Team for an initial 2-month contract.
This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional who enjoys partnering with managers, handling employee relations matters, driving people initiatives, and delivering a high-quality HR service in a fast-paced environment.
The Role

The Role
Working closely with HR Business Partners and operational teams, you will provide professional HR support across a range of people-related activities, ensuring processes are delivered efficiently, compliantly, and in line with best practice.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Providing first-class HR support and guidance to managers and employees across assigned business areas.
- Managing a range of employee relations cases, including investigations, disciplinary, grievance, absence, and performance matters.
- Supporting recruitment activity, onboarding processes, payroll administration, and employee benefits.
- Assisting in the delivery of People Plans and wider HR projects.
- Building strong relationships with stakeholders across all levels of the organisation.
- Analysing HR data, monitoring trends, and producing reports to support informed decision-making.
- Supporting organisational change, workforce planning, and capability development initiatives.
- Contributing to continuous improvement projects and helping drive innovative HR service delivery.
- Strong knowledge of employment legislation and employee relations processes.
- Experience managing complex HR casework from start to finish.
- Exposure to recruitment and wider HR administration processes.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience handling sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
- Confidence using HR systems and interpreting people data.
- CIPD Level 5 qualification (or working towards) or equivalent HR experience.
- A-Level qualifications (or equivalent).
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Temporary contract for approximately 2 months - Starting Mid October until end of December
- 37 hours per week
- Monday to Friday
