Senior Financial Accountant

We're thrilled to announce a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Financial Accountant to become part of our client's Avonmouth team on a permanent basis. This role is ideal for a Qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) looking to progress in their career.
 
This role involves overseeing compliance, tax, and financial accounting on a daily basis, as well as addressing technical inquiries concerning tax, VAT, governance, consolidation, and statutory accounts.
 
Responsibilities of the Senior Financial Accountant include but not limited to:

• Preparation of monthly and yearly reports, including Group consolidation
• Ensuring reconciliation of control accounts
• Collaboration with external auditors
• Budgeting, planning, and forecasting
• Establishing and upholding essential processes
• Offering general business assistance to various sectors
• Supervising tax matters throughout the Group
• Conducting internal audits on VAT

 
The successful Senior Financial Accountant will require the following skills and experience:

• CIMA / ACCA / ACA qualified and substantial post-qualification experience
• Proficient in both UK and international work environments
• Skilled in generating management accounts and dependable reporting
• Proficiency in Excel at an advanced level
• Familiarity with FRS102 and IFRS
• Outstanding communication abilities
• Demonstrates strong teamwork capabilities
