Management Accountant - Hybrid

Sheridan Maine are recruiting for a talented Management Accountant to join a fantastic group reporting team. 
 
This role offers a hybrid working pattern of 4 days working from home and 1 day in the Poole office.
 
Key Responsibilities of the Management Accountant will include:

• Producing monthly management accounts and assisting with annual statutory accounts
• Supporting the financial reporting process
• Financial partnering
• Preparing budgets and forecasts
• Collaborating with budget holders and stakeholders as a business partner
• Managing, supporting and developing a small team of Assistant Management Accountants
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Journal processing
• Providing variance analysis
• Handling reporting and other analytical tasks
• Investigating financial systems and rectifying errors
• Identify opportunities for improvements

 
The successful Management Accountant should possess the following skills and experience:

• Part qualified accountant (CIMA, ACA, ACCA) or qualified by experience
• Effective communication skills, with the ability to establish and build relationships across the business
• A collaborative and solution oriented mindset
• Advanced Excel skills
• Ability to analyse, interpret and present information clearly and concisely
