An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Warehouse Assistant to join a busy distribution team in Horsham. You will play an important part in the day-to-day running of the site, helping to keep stock moving smoothly from delivery through to dispatch.

Your responsibilities

• Receive incoming deliveries and check items for quantity and quality
  
  
• Accurately pick products for customer orders
  
  
• Pack goods securely and prepare them for despatch
  
  
• Use scanning equipment and warehouse systems to track stock
  
  
• Put away deliveries in the correct storage areas
  
  
• Assist with stock counts and inventory checks
  
  
• Move stock safely around the warehouse
  
  
• Help maintain a tidy, safe, and efficient working environment
  
  
• Follow company procedures and health and safety guidelines at all times
  
  

The ideal candidate

• Dependable with a strong work ethic
  
  
• Comfortable working on your feet in a physically active role
  
  
• Able to follow instructions and work to deadlines
  
  
• Organised, with good attention to detail
  
  
• A team player who is happy to muck in where needed
  
  
• Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or stockroom environment would be an advantage, although not essential
