Counterbalance Forklift Driver Location: Cumbernauld

Pay Rate: £15.50 per hour

Contract Type: Temporary (with a strong possibility of going permanent for the right candidate)

Working Hours:

• Monday – Thursday: 08:00 – 16:00
  
  
• Friday: 08:00 – 15:00
  
  (37 hours per week – Enjoy an early finish every Friday!)
  
  

About the RoleWe are currently recruiting for an experienced and reliable Counterbalance Forklift Driver / Warehouse Operator to join our busy team in Cumbernauld.

This position starts on a temporary basis, with a genuine opportunity to secure a permanent contract based on performance, attendance, and team fit. It is a key dual role within our warehouse operation, combining forklift driving with day-to-day warehouse duties.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating the Counterbalance forklift safely and efficiently to load, unload, and move stock around the warehouse.
  
  
• Managing goods in/out, including checking deliveries against paperwork and reporting discrepancies.
  
  
• Stacking, racking, and picking orders accurately for dispatch.
  
  
• Assisting with general warehouse duties, manual handling, and maintaining a clean, safe working environment.
  
  
• Supporting periodic stock checks and inventory audits.
  
  

Candidate Requirements

• Certification: Valid, accredited Counterbalance Forklift license (RTITB, ITSSAR, or equivalent).
  
  
• Experience: Proven experience operating a Counterbalance truck in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
  
  
• Work Ethic: Reliable, punctual, and looking for a long-term position with career stability.
