Senior Practitioner, £42ph, Support and Safeguarding, Windsor and Maidenhead
Pertemps are looking for a qualified and experienced social worker. The Senior Practitioner - Pods main responsibility is to safeguard and promote the welfare of young people. They will manage an agreed and complex caseload of children and young people, undertake direct social work responsibilities as an allocated worker to the children and young people assigned, and complete longer-term work with families to meet identified needs and improve outcomes for children.

The role will involve providing casework consultation to other social workers in the team as directed by the Team Leader or Head of Safeguarding. This may also supervise students, trainees, less experienced professional team members, support staff or volunteers.

You must have two years’ experience, have completed your ASYE and be registered with the SWE. Ideally you will have experience in leading a team, undertaking line management, performance management or change management.
