Cover Teaching - Available ASAP - Flexible Day2Day

Pertemps Education are currently seeking Teachers of Primary, Secondary and SEN classrooms to fulfil supply bookings on a day to day and long term basis, along with permanent vacancies. We work alongside and in exclusive partnership with a number of schools across Essex & Suffolk, as well as both County Council bodies. 

We provide schools with emergency cover, long term absence cover and assistance with permanent vacancies, along with supporting teachers with their job search. We can support you with your job hunting by finding the role that is right for you, as well as offering day to day and long term absence cover alongside a personalised consultant. 

As a Supply Teacher, you will attend days covering content that has been set for you upon arrival at the school. You will provide enthusiasm and passion for teaching, and keep pupils engaged to the best of your ability from the front of the classroom.

Your day will typically start at 8:30am and finish at 3:30pm, with no extra workload to take home with you of course. 

In regards to pay rates, we pay candidates on a weekly basis consisting of your daily pay rate, and aim to provide a fair rate based on your experience! We utilise Umbrella Payroll, who provide a seamless and easy to navigate digital pay package, including weekly digital payslips and options for Holiday Accruement. 

Pertemps ideal candidate would be:

- Qualified Teacher Status with a degree in a specialism subject, or equivalent
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or be willing to obtain one
- A passion for teaching, and open to working within a number of schools within your area
- Good availability ideally, and open to teaching different year groups (i.e. For Primary - KS1/2 and Secondary
- open to general cover as well as specialism within SEND)
-Based in Harlow, Southend, Chelmsford, Braintree, Ipswich, or Bury St Edmunds
