Job Title: Secondary School Humanities Teacher

Pay Rate: £160-£180 per day (Based on experience)

Job Description: 

Are you a dedicated and qualified Humanities Teacher with a passion for educating young minds? We are seeking an inspiring and enthusiastic teacher to join our secondary school in Mountain Ash. This role offers an exciting opportunity to ignite a love for Humanities and empower students to excel. 

 
Key Responsibilities:  

• Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality Humanities lessons that align with the curriculum and cater to the individual needs of students. 
• Foster an engaging and inclusive classroom environment that encourages creativity, critical thinking, and a deep appreciation for the subject. 
• Assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback and tailored support. 
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop effective teaching strategies and share best practices. 
• Prepare students for assessments and examinations, equipping them with the skills and confidence needed for success. 
• Actively participate in school events and extracurricular activities to contribute to the wider educational community. 

Qualifications and Skills: 

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification. 
• Proven experience teaching Humanities at the secondary school level. 
• Strong subject knowledge and familiarity with the curriculum. 
• Effective classroom management skills. 
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities. 

Working Hours: 

• This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, following the school's operating hours.
