Job Description
Pertemps is recruiting experienced and reliable 7.5T Delivery Drivers on behalf of Royal Mail in Edinburgh. Join a respected national employer and play an important role transporting mail and parcels across your local community.
Your Role
Your Role
- Drive a 7.5-tonne Royal Mail vehicle safely and responsibly on assigned routes.
- Load and unload mail and parcels efficiently.
- Deliver mail and parcels to distribution points and local delivery teams.
- Perform daily vehicle checks and maintain vehicle cleanliness.
- Provide excellent customer service and represent Royal Mail professionally.
- Full UK manual driving licence with category C1 entitlement (7.5T) with no more than 6 points.
- Previous experience driving a 7.5T vehicle essential.
- Good knowledge of Bristol and surrounding areas.
- Physically fit with ability to lift parcels up to 20kg.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Ability to pass a DBS (criminal background) check.
- You will also need to provide a Valid Tachograph card.
- Working Hours: Monday to Friday 14:00-22:00.
- Pay Rate: £15.95
