We are currently recruiting for a reliable and experienced FLT Driver to join our busy distribution centre in Birmingham. The successful candidate will play an important role in the day-to-day warehouse operation, ensuring goods are moved, loaded, unloaded and stored safely and efficiently.

We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, follows health and safety procedures and can work effectively as part of a fast-paced distribution team.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift truck safely and efficiently within the distribution centre.
  
  
• Load and unload deliveries from vehicles.
  
  
• Move, stack and store pallets and stock in designated warehouse locations.
  
  
• Support goods-in and goods-out operations to ensure orders are processed efficiently.
  
  
• Assist with stock movements and maintain accurate stock handling procedures.
  
  
• Complete daily forklift safety checks and report any defects.
  
  
• Follow all site health and safety policies and safe working practices.
  
  
• Maintain a clean, tidy and organised working environment.
  
  
• Work closely with warehouse colleagues and supervisors to meet operational targets.
  
  
• Ensure all products are handled carefully to prevent damage.
  
  

Essential Requirements

• Valid FLT licence relevant to the truck type required.
  
  
• Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution centre environment.
  
  
• Good understanding of health and safety procedures.
  
  
• Ability to work in a busy, fast-paced environment.
  
  
• Strong teamwork, communication and organisational skills.
  
  
• Reliable, punctual and committed to maintaining high standards.
