We are currently recruiting for an experienced Band 7 Mental Health Practitioner to provide specialist mental health support within the Experts at Hand service in London.

Key responsibilities:

• Provide specialist mental health assessments and professional advice
• Support children, young people and families with a range of mental health needs
• Develop and review appropriate support and intervention plans
• Work collaboratively with education, health, social care and other professionals
• Provide specialist guidance to families and professionals
• Maintain accurate clinical records and produce high-quality reports
• Contribute specialist expertise to a multi-disciplinary service

Requirements:

• Relevant professional qualification and registration
• Band 7 or equivalent specialist mental health experience
• Strong assessment and intervention skills
• Experience working with children and young people is desirable
• Excellent communication and report-writing skills
• Ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team
