Driver training provider celebrates third year of HGV skills bootcamp

More HGV drivers are to be upskilled thanks to the continued efforts of PDT Fleet Training.

PDT Fleet Training is launching their HGV skills bootcamp for a third year, which has empowered over 2,000 individuals and 98 businesses in the past two years.

Supported by the Department of Education HGV skills bootcamp contract, PDT Fleet Training are extending substantial funding opportunities to eligible businesses.

SME’s stand to gain an impressive 90% subsidy, while large organisations can take advantage of 70% subsidy for existing employees.

The skills bootcamp is a condensed intensive programme designed to equip individuals with essential knowledge and practical skills for heavy good vehicle (HGV) driving.

PDT Fleet Training have been delivering quality driver training services throughout the UK to enhance driver skills, driver behaviours and improve on-road safety since 2009.

“This initiative marks a significant milestone in our commitment to fostering excellence in the HGV industry," said Samantha Leleu, Director at PDT Fleet Training.

"We believe that by providing accessible and comprehensive training opportunities, we can not only address the demand for skilled HGV drivers but also contribute to the success and sustainability of businesses across England."

The skills bootcamp is open to all businesses, including sole traders, operating within England.
