Semi Skilled Operative

Pertemps are looking to hire multiple production staff for our customer in Gainsborough. Due to grow, our customer would like to add to their already successful manufacturing team. As a Semi-Skilled Operative, you’ll play a vital role in turning raw materials into finished products that meet the high-quality standards our customers expect.


Shifts:
There are 2 shifts you can choose from, you will NOT rotate.

• AM Shift - Monday to Friday – 06:00 to 14:30
• PM Shift - Monday to Thursday – 14:30 to 01:00

 
Pay:

• AM Shift - £13.15ph. Overtime, £19.73ph (Mon to Sat) & £26.30ph (Sun)
• PM Shift - £15.00ph. Overtime, £19.73ph (Mon to Sat) & £26.30ph (Sun)

This is a varied role, where you’ll gain hands-on experience in multiple areas of production, including:

• Incoming Goods
• Laser Operations
• Machine Operations
• Stores
• Assembly and Packing
• Despatch

 
Duties:

• Maintain high housekeeping standards in all work areas.
• Generate and maintain all relevant documentation.
• Work professionally with all functional teams to minimise waiting times during production.
• Work to customer specifications.
• Adhere to Health & Safety (H&S) policies, ensuring a safe environment for yourself and others.
• Identify and report risks, near misses, or unsafe conditions to maintain safety and environmental standards.

Skill & Experience Requirements:

• Basic computer literacy.
• Experience working with metal-forming equipment such as presses, rollers, and formers.
• Strong awareness of Health & Safety practices.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Flexibility and adaptability to work in various production areas.
