THE ROLE:
This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced and ambitious Probate Specialist to join a well established and highly regarded Private Client department located in West Yorkshire. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work across a varied portfolio of high value and complex estates, providing expert advice and tailored support to individuals, families, executors, trustees and professional advisers. Key responsibilities will include handling all aspects of estate administration, including probate applications, inheritance tax, estate accounts and distributions, with exposure to matters involving trusts, business and agricultural assets, investments and overseas property. You will also have the opportunity to work on more complex and contentious estates, while developing strong client and professional relationships and contributing to the continued growth of the private client team.
THE CANDIDATE:
Applications are welcomed from talented and ambitious probate and estate administration professionals who can demonstrate significant experience of handling high net worth and complex estates. The successful candidate will be either a qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive who possesses a strong technical knowledge of inheritance tax, trusts and estate administration alongside an ability to manage sensitive matters in a calm, empathetic and discreet manner. You will be well organised, commercially minded and proactive, possess an excellent understanding of probate practice and procedure and be able to work confidently and autonomously while simultaneously delivering a high standard of service.
