CMM Inspector 

Pertemps are currently recruiting for a CMM Inspector and Programmer to join a growing manufacturing business based in Lymington. This is a full time, permanent position. 

 

Responsibilities as a CMM Inspector & Programmer:

 

• Mechanical inspection of parts using callipers, micrometres, digital height gauge, shadowgraph and other gauges
  
  
• CMM programming 
  
  
• Meet the requirements of the production schedule
  
  
• Maintain documentation and records 
  
  
• Maintain an effective equipment and tooling calibration system
  
  
• Cleaning and packing of parts as needed 
  
  
• Carrying out internal audits
  
  
• Ensuring all CMM programmes are accurately done in accordance with drawing requirements 
  
  

 

Requirements for this position: 

• Previous CMM experience
  
  
• Competent in the use of precision measuring equipment
  
  
• Competent In the use of interpretation of machined component manufacturing drawings 
  
  
• Internal auditing knowledge to BSI standards
  
  
• Ideally used Keyence, Rational Dimis or Mitutoyo software 
  
  
• Confident Microsoft Excel user 
  
  

 

The CMM Inspector and Programmer Role: 

• Monday – Friday, 7am – 4pm or 8am – 5pm 
  
  
• An hour early finish on a Friday 
  
  
• Starting salary of £38,000 - £40,000, negotiable depending on experience
  
  
• 26 days annual leave plus bank holidays
