Assistant Store Manager - Croydon
£28,980 per annum + Quarterly Sales Bonus
Full-Time | Permanent | 5 Days out of 7 (Rota Basis)
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Store Manager to join a leading self-storage business in Croydon.
Working closely with the Store Manager, you will help drive sales, maximise occupancy, deliver excellent customer service, and ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the store. In the Store Manager's absence, you will take responsibility for the operation of the site.
Key Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities
- Support the day-to-day management of the store
- Handle customer enquiries and convert them into sales
- Promote storage solutions and related services
- Help achieve sales and occupancy targets
- Ensure high standards of store presentation and compliance
- Supervise and motivate team members
- Take responsibility for the store when required, including lone working
- Previous supervisory, team leader or assistant management experience
- Strong customer service and sales skills
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities
- Self-motivated, proactive and able to lead by example
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a small team
- Flexible to work weekends as part of a rota
- £28,980 basic salary
