Pay rate £38 per hour

We are recruiting for an experienced Occupational Therapist in the Reading area. 
Locum Contract - Full Time or Part Time Considered 
 

• We are seeking an experienced Locum Occupational Therapist to support our Optimising Care service until the end of March, with both part-time and full-time arrangements considered. 

• The successful candidate will need to be a Moving and Handling specialist with extensive experience in delivering and embedding single-handed care approaches , undertaking complex assessments, providing expert clinical advice, and promoting strength-based, independence-focused outcomes for adults with care and support needs. 

• Working under the supervision of our Senior Moving and Handling Lead, you will support the implementation of Optimising Care principles, collaborate with colleagues and care providers, and contribute to safe, proportionate care solutions that maximise independence and reduce reliance on formal care where appropriate. 

• The successful candidate must have up to date moving and handling training. 
  You will need to be within commuting distance of Reading as you will be required to attend in person meetings, staff meetings and conduct home visits.
