Job Description
An independent and growing Practice firm in Scotland is looking to strengthen its accounts team.
The Role:
- Managing a mixed portfolio of SME businesses, both current and new.
- Regular client interactions delivering proactive service.
- Possessing good, sound, and current technical knowledge of accounting standards and regulations, ideally with a focus on Corporate and Personal Taxes.
- Producing management accounts.
- Communicating effectively with clients and HMRC.
- Ideally, you will be a newly or recently qualified accountant with a minimum of 3 years' experience. Experience in accounting practice is desirable.
- Proficiency in preparing sole trader and FRS102 Limited Company accounts.
- Demonstrating an ability to deliver excellent service to clients and colleagues.
- Possessing strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
- Capable of managing your workload and working independently to meet deadlines.
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
